When: Swimmers must be at the Hampton Woods pool at 4:30pm. First-half volunteers check-in with Erin Diffenderrfer at 5:30pm. Second-half volunteers check-in with Erin during event #37 and take over the volunteer position after event #43.

What to bring/wear: HW bathing suit or solid blue bathing suit, swim cap, goggles, towel, Hammerhead Awards, cash for concessions

**Please put your children's Hammerhead Awards (the blue dog tags) in their blue swim bags so that they can exchange them for treats at the concession stand!

What to know/do: Drop your swimmer off in the shark tank (formerly known as the bullpen) at 4:30pm. Know your kid's event numbers to ensure they don't miss a race. Then, grab a good seat and cheer, cheer, cheer!

Ribbon Day Today

Ask your kids to show you their ribbons from the first two meets! We ate doughnuts at practice to celebrate all our success. We gave out LOTS of first and second place ribbons! Our team may be small, but we are mighty!

COACH OF THE WEEK: Daniel Willis

Daniel is a rising sophomore at Walton. He has been swimming since second grade and is currently on the Walton Swim Team. His favorite strokes are backstroke and butterfly. When Daniel is not swimming, he likes to play tennis and basketball and hang out with friends. This is Daniel's second year as a coach for the Hammerheads. Thanks, Daniel, for helping our little ones learn to swim, helping our older swimmers swim faster, and for swimming hard for us in the meets! We appreciate you!
