Hi, Hammerhead Parents!

We are just days away from our first home meet on Wednesday, May 29! (Read to the end for swim meet details.) Two important things I need from each of you:

1) We rely on your drink and baked goods donations! Thank you to the 24 families who have donated or signed up to donate! You can donate in 3 ways. You can Venmo $10 to @Jennifer-pila; you can donate $10 via our website under the “shop” tab; or you can sign up to drop off donations at Jennifer’s house: https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/20f084ba9af2ca0f85-swim

2) Please RSVP for the meet if you have not done so. We currently have 51 swimmers swimming in this first meet out of 83 total swimmers. I think that many families have not RSVPed yet. Please note that if you do not RSVP for the meet, our coaches will not include your kid in the lineup, and your kid will not have any races to swim at the first meet! It is imperative that you RSVP! Please see the list below of kids who have RSVPed yes to swim in the first meet. Swim Meet Details:

1. Be at our pool between 5:00pm and 5:15pm. The coaches or parents will mark up the swimmers upon arrival. 
2. Wear your royal blue swimsuit and your Hammerheads t-shirt. 
3. Bring your swim cap (optional). Brittany has extra swim caps. 
4. Label EVERYTHING with your name. 
5. Warm ups start at 5:30pm. 
6. BRING CASH! The concession stand is cash only. Allison & Jennifer will have hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, and limited quantities of Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and Fresh Market mini sandwiches plus snacks, candy, and drinks. 

Please note that alcohol is never allowed within the fenced area around the pool during swim meets. Our team can be disqualified completely if alcohol is within the fence during a meet. 

Last but certainly not least, Erin Diffenderrfer is our volunteer coordinator. Please check in with her before the start of the meet if you are a first-half volunteer. If you are volunteering during the second half, you will take over your position at race #44. Please check in with Erin at race #34. 

We are going to rock this season! Cheering on our swimmers is always so much fun! Go, Hammerheads! Eat my bubbles!
