Meet 3 Volunteer Recap & Meet 4 Needs!

What a great meet — thank you to everyone who volunteered, flexed, stayed late, switched jobs, brought energy, and helped keep things moving. Special shout out to Alexander K and George S for stepping in as floaters and helping cover gaps when we needed extra hands

A few quick notes as we head into our final home meet:

• Please make sure to check in when you arrive- just look for the harried mother of three boys carrying the clip board at/near the volunteer table. If you don't immediately see me (sometimes I'm chasing people around), text me at 4042908747. If you signed up but plans changed, let us know. We got a little relaxed with communication this week and it made it difficult to know who was actually available. It is especially important that our first shift team is checked in by 5:30. The officials meeting starts at 5:45 and I need all first shift volunteers present and accounted for.

• Going forward, if you don’t check in, we’ll assume you’re not here and will fill your role so the meet can stay on schedule. It just helps us keep things running and avoid last-minute scrambling.

• We are still pending at least 5 volunteer shifts that need to be filled. This is our last home meet, and there are only two meets left in the season! If your family hasn’t picked up a volunteer shift yet, we would really love your support. Swim team only works because families pitch in, and spreading the workload makes the experience better for everyone. You know (and I, thanks to the SwimTopia reports feature) who you are 🙂 — help us avoid the awkward individual outreach and grab a shift! Thanks again for everything you do to make this team such a fun community.
