Hello everyone!  Just 2 1/2 more months until swim team begins!!  As you know, Coach Sammie will be returning to be our Head Coach again this summer!!  She is currently finishing her final year of swimming at Texas A&M and just qualified for the NCAA Championship!!  Her mom sent me the below message..she is collecting cards from Sammie's friends and family to give to her to cheer her on for the NCAA Championship meet and her FINAL swim meet!  If you or your swimmers would like to make or buy her a card I know she would LOVE getting cards from Hampton Woods!  I will collect all the cards and get them to her parents.. Dear very important people in Sammie's life, As you probably know Sammie's final college meet after 16 years of swimming is at NCAAs on March 19-21. This is a huge accomplishment not only swimming for 16 years but making this meet. Sammie is ranked 14th in the 100 free and 22nd in the 50 free. She also will swim the 100 fly and all three relays. Her goal is to make Finals with best times of her life and finish this long career strong. One last time, I would love to collect notes from y’all and give them to her. It goes without saying her sacrifice and dedication all these years so I know she would really appreciate a final swim note to end her long career on.
