Our next swim meet is just a few short days away!!  This Tuesday, 6/10, vs. Sibley Forest at Sibley Forest!  Below is important info you will need to know for the meet!  Just a quick reminder that tomorrow, Monday, morning our practices are combined for 5 and ups and everyone will swim from 10:15-11:00.

 

Please arrive for the meet no later than 5:15 for warm ups!!  Sibley Forest is doing their team pictures from 4:30-5:15, so it may be a little chaotic on their end when you arrive so allow yourself plenty of time!

Sibley Forest Pool:  629 Gunby Road, Marietta, GA  30067.  They are located off Paper Mill Road.  

 

Pool Info:  Sibley Forest has a 6 lane pool with Dives from poolside on the deep end (no blocks).  Swimmers that start from the shallow end will use sit dives.

 

Parking:  They have a large pool parking lot but it will fill up quickly!  They said we can park on BOTH SIDES of Gunby Road, but we can ONLY park on Gunby Road.  We cannot park on Sibley Forest Drive.  

 

Our Bullpen:  Our bullpen should be located on the opposite side of the pool from the entry gate.  Please have your swimmers already marked up with their events when they arrive and they should check in at the bullpen upon arrival with our bullpen volunteers!

 

Volunteers:  If you have not signed up for a volunteer spot, please visit the website and do that today!  If you are volunteering in the first session of the meet, please check in with Angela Stone when you arrive to get info on what you will be doing.

 

What to Bring:  You will want to bring chairs and a tent if you have one as there is not much shade!  And don't forget your swim caps, goggles, towels and a copy of the heat sheet!

 

Concessions:  They will have a full concessions stand with hamburgers, hotdogs, etc...
